Stampin' Up! Springtime Hello New Tutorial

Brrr it's proper cold today and I'm so glad I don't have to go out again until tomorrow!
Yesterday I promised I'd be back with a new tutorial and I hope I don't disappoint:

Stampin_Up

It features products you'll be able to purchase from the new Stampin' Up! Seasonal catalogue on 28th January onwards...woo-hoo! A beautiful garland kit and stamp set with matching framelits. Didn't fancy making a garland though!

The class also comes in two colour options - or do both as they are in the garland kit!

Stampin_Up

You can buy the PDF tutorial for personal use in my right side bar - it's an instant download so no waiting around.

If you're a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like to buy this as a full package, please take a look on my Demo Designed Classes page HERE.

In your package you'll get a watermark free version of the tutorial to handout in classes, two photos for use in advertising, a class flyer to personalise, a demonstrator guide with pricing etc and a prep guide to help you plan for your class too.

I will be providing these demonstrator tutorials on a monthly basis.

Ooh eck, so sorry about yesterday! I could not get photos to transfer from my camera to the PC for some reason. Never had that happen before - hope it doesn't happen again either!

So, hope you all had fabulous weekends? I've been busy designing and creating and have a new project to share with you today:

Stampin_Up

It used the In Colors Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana and Strawberry Slush and also the cute In Color Boutique Details.

It's a double sided caddy, with a calendar too and big enough to hold 5" cards and envelopes, or your general desk clutter! It stands at 6" tall. Here are some close ups for you:

Stampin_Up

It's available as an instant download tutorial in my side bar right now - or you can get it for FREE!

Stampin' Up! Perfect Pennants Sneak Peek

Ooh I'm such a fan of the sneak peek 'cos you want to know what it is and then you really want the stash that's been used and then.....you have to wait to get it! That's why I personally love them, because as I'm already a Stampin' Up! demonstrator I get my mitts of new stuff early and get to tease you guys about it too!

Anyway, 'shhhhh' Mums the word and all that don't tell The Spark you've seen this because it's his Valentines card from me!

Stampin_Up
It's a 5" square base in Smoky Slate layered with some soon to be available Fancy Foil Designer Vellum. I cut the tag and finished if off using a Framelit in the Big Shot - you can see how on the photo below.

The silver heat embossed sentiment is from a new stamp set too - more of that in the next week or so! If you like the die cut love, I used Silver Foil Sheet and Expressions Thinlits Dies.

Stampin_Up

Added some sparkle with the Silver Glimmer Card, Silver Ribbon and a Rhinestone Jewel.

Come back tomorrow to see my new class venue, dates and projects too!

Stampin' Up! Cycle Celebration

Woo-hoo, the sun is shining today which always puts me in such a good mood. Add that to the fact the builders have finished plastering the conservatoire and lounge and to be honest I can't smile wide enough!!!

So this week brings lots of Birthdays for both family and friends so guess what I've been making today? Can't share all just yet but have a really pretty one for you today. How many of you are hooked not just to blogging but to Pintrest too? I know I am and often I don't realise how much time I spend surfing my way through and collecting ideas and inspiration. Today that's where my project was driven from. I made this card cased from a beautiful tag created by Joanne B.

Stampin_Up

It's a 7"x5" card in Crumb Cake layered with Basic Black. The 'Happy' is die cut using the Typeset Alphabet Bigz Dies (I get SO much use out of this set) and the sentiment is from Cycle Celebration. I stamped it in Versamark ink and heat set with White Embossing Powder.

I made the flower in Melon Mambo Card from a right mix of punches and dies - you can view them all in my online shop HERE.

I also used the Bird Builder Punch and Wild Wasabi Card to make the leaves and branches. You can see on the next photo how I screwed up the card to give it some texture.

Stampin_Up

Popped in the centres are Clear Vintage Faceted Buttons with Linen Thread tied through.

I might have to make up another of these to display in the Room of Craft 'cos it makes me smile looking at it. If you'd like to see more of my creations and things that inspire me, click HERE to visit my Pinterest boards.

Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio Hybrid Cards

The other day I promised to share with you a couple of the cards I made to show at Stampin' Up! Creative Tour using standard Stampin' Up! products mixed with stuff I'd printed from My Digital Studio Software.

Stampin_Up

My colour combo is Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and Old Olive. I'm loving the new Gold Foil Sheets and I think it looks fab embossed with Stylish Stripes Textured Embossing Folder. The digital bits are the embellishments in the centre which I've punched out and the paper ribbon across the middle. Both are from Very Merry Twenty Five Designer Tags Set.

Stampin_Up

Same card design here, just switched the colours around and used Champagne Glimmer Paper instead of the Gold Foil.

Stampin_Up

Love the way it sparkles without covering me in glitter when I touch it!

Stampin_Up

You can buy all the products used here from me and to save time you can browse my online Stampin' Up! shop and shop 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - you'll need a big basket though!

Stampin' Up! All Day Spring Class

Are you enjoying the sunshine where you are? It's a scorcher here today - I'm hoping the forecast is wrong for the rest of the week but it's not looking fab. So a last week I had my first all day class of the year and we had such a fun filled day. I thought it was about time I shared some of the projects with you. One of the main elements of everyone's kits was the gorgeous Stampin' Up! Razzleberry Splash Simply Scrappin' Kit. We made tons of different projects and here is the first one:

Stampin_Up

It's an acetate box (none Stampin Up!) filled with tags and gift cards. The tags are die cut with the Stampin' Up! Two Tags Die and layered with Pool Party Card embossed with the Honeycomb Embossing folder - I love this one sooo much. The flower is from Mixed Bunch.

Stampin_Up

The stamp was inked up with Pool Party Ink and then using a Finger Dauber the edges carefully daubed with Rich Razzleberry or Night of Navy.

Stampin_Up

And here are the matching gift cards. Loads more to share so pop back soon - also for the date of my next all day class in June!

Stampin' Up! Artisan Embellishments Class

If you follow me on Facebook you'll have seen the sneak peek I posted yesterday of this project. I absolutely love this and it's something a bit different for me too. We decorated our hallway and stairs before Christmas and I have been looking everywhere for some 'art' to pop in a particular place and have found nothing that fitted the idea I had in my head. So I set about creating my own. I've done one so far and have another to make to go with it. Here you go, starting with the sneak peek I shared already:

Stampin_Up

Ta-da ....here is the whole thing.  It's not the brightest of photos but it's so dark here with more snow falling! It's a print tray box (12" square) decorating using the Artisan Embellishments Kit and More Amore Designer Speciality Papers amongst other things.

Stampin_Up

I've wanted to do something with this photo of the Spark and Major Mayhem for so long now. Zac was such a chunky baby boy! I was so nervous about cutting the photo as the digital of the original is long since lost on a burnt out laptop!

Here's a close up of one of the resin flowers:

Stampin_Up

And a bit more detail too:

Stampin_Up

If you like this and would like to make your own, I'm running a class doing just that on:
Saturday 18th May
1pm - 4pm
Nottingham

Cost is £30 and includes the frame (rrp £22.50), all your kit including adhesive and refreshments.
Please book ASAP as spaces are very limited.
You can secure your place with a £10 deposit but payment in full needed by Tues 30th April please.

Stampin' Up! Swallowtail

I shared a sneak peek of a project I'd been working on ages ago and realised I forgot to show you the completed piece! So without further ado - here is a piece of framed art I made:

Stampin_Up

It features Swallowtail - the large butterfly stamp in the Stampin' Up! Spring / Summer Catalogue and First Edition Speciality Papers.

Here's close up of the butterfly:

Stampin_Up

I added a few Self Adhesive Pearls to the body and had stamped a plain butterfly underneath too. I made a bow using Victoria Crochet Trim and a beautiful Pool Party Button - I do not want to run out of these!

Stampin_Up

The large sentiment is a stamp I got whilst in Vienna with Stampin' Up! - it's our statement of the heart.

Stampin_Up

Sorry to post and run but I have lots of kits to make up for those of you who have already bought my Bloomin' Marvelous postal kit. If you haven't seen it yet - click HERE.

Stampin' Up! Everyday Happenings Calendar Class

It's been a while but I am almost there now with my new class schedule. I'm particularly excited about this class as it uses products that are so new to Stampin' Up! - the Everyday Happenings Designer Calendar and the Desktop Display Calendar Case.

It's brilliant because as a crafter the first thing you're going to want to do is to decorate this yourself - even though it looks prett gorgeous as it is. The Desktop Display measures 19.1 x 11cm so it's a really good size but also comes in a bubble wrap case so it's brilliant for posting for a Christmas gift. Just think - you could buy everyone you know a Stampin' Up! calendar for Christmas, even if they're not crafters themselves this makes a beautiful stand alone gift and if you buy enough you could get yourself some hostess freebies in the process - bargain!

Stampin_Up_Demonstrator

Anyway - I decided to get my brayer out and have some fun with mine - here is a sneak peek at what I've done:

Stampin_Up_Demonstrator

The images lift up so you can still write in the space provided on the Stampin' Up! calendar pages too. If you'd like to have a go at this, I'm holding a class on

Sunday 9th December at 1pm in Arnold, Nottingham.

The cost of the class is £20 and includes the Everyday Happenings Calender, The Desktop Display Calendar Case and your very own Brayer too plus refreshments. Don't worry if you've not used a brayer before as I'll be teaching you everything you need to know!

You'll come away with 12 decorated images for your calendar plus a gorgeous box to store it in too or to present it in as a gift. If you already have a brayer, you may substitute this for £10.95 worth of other Stampin' Up! product at time of booking.

PLUS - if you have been to one of my classes before and bring along someone NEW to this class, you will receive a FREE inkpad of your choice too.

Here is a photo showing all the pages that come with the Everyday Happenings Calendar.

Stampin_Up_Demonstrator

To book your place, please email me at bluejellystampin@sky.com or phone me on 07748 707845. Places need to be booked and paid for by Friday 23rd November please.
Why not order extra calendar and case bundles at £6.95 to give out as Christmas gifts this year - everyone needs a calendar and this way you can share Stampin' Up! with everyone you know.

If you can't make the class you can still order the Calendar and case as a bundle for £6.95 plus P&P (no P&P if you can collect from me).

Stampin' Up! Tea Shoppe Swaps

Wow it's so hot today, I braved it and went outside to mow the lawn before it takes over the whole garden! I've not done any crafting as Blake has now caught tonsillitis off Zac so Nurse Mummy at the ready! I thought I'd share with you some of the swaps I made for Jules' training back in April. It was before the Summer Mini catalogue went live so I didn't post them at the time.

I did make four different colourways but had a moment and forgot to photograph them before I took them to swap. I got oodles of fab swaps in return and Jules ran a brilliant training day for us all.

My swaps use Twitterpated Designer papers teamed up with Pear Pizazz and Riding Hood Red. I used Markers to colour my images as I used lots of stamps for the Tea Shoppe set and mixed them up a bit.

These were a bit time consuming and not the best idea for making 30 of! The inside holds two tea bags:

More Twitterpated Paper and ahem not the tastiest of tea bags either - sorry Sally-Jo for ruining your morning with a cup of detox tea! I do drink the digestif one myself but it's not everyones cup of tea (pardon the pun - not!).We'll be making one of these in my Crafternoon Tea class at the end of June but the design will be different including the papers!

Thanks to everyone for your kind messages about my Mum. She had her hip replacement surgery yesterday and I've spoken to her today and she seems in good spirits. Just can't wait to get home by the sounds of things.

Righto, off to tend to my cough drops.
