Pop Up desk Tidy Bins

Blimey I've been so busy sewing and having fun with the family that I've not been here in a while, nice to see you again.

It's a busy time of year for me with lots of craft fairs and events so it's been heads down - needle at the ready for a while now and will continue that way into the festive season - LOVE IT!!!
Also been spending all my spare time with the boys and family, it's been / is such a blast.

One of my most popular makes at the moment are these cute fabric pop up bins or desk tidy things. I'm not sure they have a specific name. So glad to be typing that and not saying it - FACT ABOUT ME: I can't say 'specific' properly, it always comes out as 'pacific' as in the Ocean rather than the sound I made in my head before engaging my mouth. How odd is that? Is it just me or are there words your mouth stumbles over too?

Anyway, I digress, back to the sewing. Do you want to see? These are some I posted out this week:

They are so cute. Here's a close up of the floral taupe ones:

Same fabric in a different colour way:

I adore this super cute fabric with birds and flowers on.

I'm in the process of making some with very cute tress on and have requests for owls, giraffes and elephants too - whatever floats your boat, I can most likely fulfil it.

These are just £6.50 each plus postage (UK only). If you'd like to order you can pop over to my

or email me at:

I do have an on line store in the making - it's very much work in progress at the moment and something I intend to launch as soon as possible.

Gift Bags and Matching Tags

Where's the sun gone? Today started off so sunny and bright, I even pegged my washing out, but not to worry folks of Nottingham, I brought it back in again so you never know, it might not rain!

Thanks for so many cute messages asking after Blake. He was sent home from school poorly yesterday. Despite him insisting he wasn't tired he slept for four and a half hours on the sofa and then slept right through the night too. He's back at school today and doing much better - phew!

I'm going to share with you another recent fabric make. When I a Stampin' Up! demo I used to love making gift bags or boxes and tags and figured fabric shouldn't be so much different to work with really so I came up with these small tote bags:

I love these sweetie jars with old school style Bonbons and Humbugs on, they make me smile.
Here's a close up on one of the bags:

I made the tags using Perfectly Preserved stamps and coordinating dies from Stampin' Up! along with naturals card and some other stamps too.

Don't these sweets make you want to go out and buy a quarter to enjoy?

The bags themselves are a great size to use as gift bags measuring 8 1/4" across and 10" down (plus the handles) and are just £4.50 plus postage (to UK only).

Great idea for popping your Easter treats in. You can order by emailing me at:

or message me via my Facebook Page.

Shabby Chic Style Fabric Hearts

Happy Saturday to you.

Today I officially have escapage! The mini beasts have just left the house with The Spark for a fun filled morning of soft play (for them that is, otherwise known as torture for The Spark) and lunch out. I've done my household chores already, but then I have been up since ridiculous o'clock thanks to my children's desire to wake up and play with their toys in a super noisy fashion whilst still dark outside. It was worthwhile though, after several intakes of caffeine I was even in the Room of Craft before 7am.

I'm a bit excited to share with you the start of my new range of shabby chic style hanging fabric hearts. Here's the first of many designs:

Shabby_Chic_Fabric_Hanging_Heart_Personalised

To know me is to know I like to partake in a tipple or two so this is one of my personal favourites and will take pride of place in my home somewhere!

Each heart is backed with beautiful polka dot fabric coordinating with the front.

And finished with a cute tag if you are giving your heart as a gift.

Each heart is approximately 5.5" in height (without the hanging loop) and I can personalise with anything you like so long as the wording isn't subject to Trademark or Copyright.

The cost is £4.50 plus postage - if you'd like to order for Valentine's Day, please don't delay with your order due to postage times. Ordering is simple - just drop me an email to:
