Stampin' Up! Dinoroar Scrap Layouts

Aah - Monday already. No time for crafting today as the sun has been out so I took Bips to the park whilst Zac was at pre-school and then I've been parcelling up some orders to go. Luckily, I'd already got these scrap pages made to show you. I started them at Jules' training and finished them when I got home - thanks to Cal and co for the suggestion to use Dinoroar stamp set and cut some grass!

I think it's easier to see them one at a time so here is the first page I made:

The background is a 12x12 sheet of Baja Breeze and the designer papers are from a new selection called Twitterpated - these are available from tomorrow in the new Summer Mini Catalogue! It's a very girlie paper selection but has a couple of sheets suitable for boy projects too! The title has been stamped with the Letter It alpha stamps and cut out with coloured brads between each letter. When Spark comes home each day he always asks 'how have my mini beasts been today?' The Pleated Pear Pizzaz ribbon is also new as is the cute 'lil Twitterpated button. The other new product I've used is one of the Framelits dies to create a lift up flap. Here's the outside:

I folded a piece of the designer paper and cut so the fold was inside the die at the top. The dinosaurs or dinoroars have been stamped in Basic Gray Ink and coloured with coordinating inks using an Aqua Brush. The grass was cut by hand. Here's the inside:

I used a smaller framelit die to create a white space for journalling. Here's the next page:

I love these photos, we had a pop up play tent in the lounge filled with plastic balls and they went mad for it. Here's a close up of one of the cute dinosaurs:

Hope you can pop back tomorrow as I promise I have some FAB things to share with you!

Stampin' Up! Bye Bye Spice Cake

I didn't wake up until 9.40 this morning! That's unheard of in the house of Jelly. The boys are back from their grandparents now so we'll return to the usual 5.40am wake up call tomorrow I expect.

I posted out a catalogue to a lovely lady this weekend (Hi Linda) and I included a few punched out jewellery tags for her. It inspired me to create these:

It's a cute little gift set for a crafter! I've made use of the Spice Cake designer papers and the oh so gorgeous Spice Cake Designer Buttons. To know me is to know I have hugely stocked up on these buttons as they are one of my favourite products. Do I need to remind you that from Tuesday you won't be able to buy these papers or these buttons? I'm putting in my final order from the Spring Mini Catalogue tomorrow, so you need to contact me BEFORE midday Monday to get your order in through me too. Local orders that can be collected have FREE P&P too.

Here's the card:

The sketch is from this weeks challenge over at Less is More. I love it - there are two versions you can choose from. I kept it simple, just a large 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punched in Soft Suede (another punch that's going tomorrow!) and added some Spice Cake paper and popped a button in the centre. I stamped a flower from Itty Bitty Bits and used the Jewellery Tag punch and attached with some Linen Thread:

That's when I decided to make a matching gift too, I got my inspiration from the Mini when I saw a box created with the Two Tags Die:

I die cut two tags (no pun intended) in Pool Party and again in Spice Cake Papers. The decoration is the same as the card and perfectly holds the Jewellery Tag Punch. I popped it in a large Cello Bag and tied a bow with the Velvet Designer Ribbon - also going tomorrow folks!

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator I often harping on about the perks of the job. You really want to come back on Tuesday to see an amazing opportunity you can take advantage of when you join our team of Jelly Stampers during May!!!

Stampin' Up! Simply Adorned

I lurve Saturday mornings. Especially when the mini beasts have stayed the night at their Grandparents and I get to sleep 'til 7am. Bliss. Bliss somewhat ruined as had to get up anyway as the plasterer was coming to do our hallway.

Anyhoo, I've been crafting whilst he did the plastering and here's what I came up with:

As I'm such a tidy crafter (not) I still had the hostess Sweet Treat Designer papers out and took inspiration from them again. I've made a necklace and bracelet jewellery set with the Simply Adorned product range. Can you believe these are only available until Monday in the Spring Mini Catalogue? Here's the necklace:

I couldn't get a decent shot of the Bevelled Charm so hope you get the idea. I stamped the heart from Perfect Postage and cut the centre out leaving a heart window. Glued behind this is a little scrap of the designer paper, mounted on Concord Crush paper from the same range and decorated with self adhesive Basic Rhinestones. I've added a knot of Elegant Eggplant Scallop Dots Ribbon and attached a Pink Crystal Bauble and a Trinket Crown:

I wish the Trinket Crowns were hanging around for a while longer - how perfect would they be on Jubilee projects? The Simply Adorned Chain comes in a beautiful gift box so I decorated it to match. I made use of the Postage Stamp Punch here too before it's no longer available. The matching bracelet was really simple to make. Just a Simply Adorned Bracelet with Baubles and Trinket Keys attached - so easy to do as they all have lobster clasps included. I decorated some smaller Bevelled Charms with designer papers.

Finally a cute gift card to match:

Hope this photo shows the bracelet off a little better. Well luckily for me I'm in the room of craft and Spark has just shut me in and taped around the outside of the door as he's sanding and painting. Oh the nightmare - I have to ask his permission to get out ha ha. I have coffee and chocolate and all my stash - why would I want to leave?

Going......going......

Eeek! Seriously, just a few days remaining now to order anything you love from the Stampin' Up! Spring Mini catalogue.

As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator I get a little fraught towards the end of a catalogue or promotion as I know I don't have much time left to showcase some of the beautiful products we have. At the same time I'm whooping and giggling behind the scenes 'cos I've also got loads of new stuff to play with from the New Summer Mini Catalogue! Just one of the perks of being a demonstrator is that you get to order stuff a whole month before it's available to everyone else.

There's something NEW and exciting coming next week that just might tempt you to join our team and become a Stampin' Up! demo too. If you can't wait to find out, please drop me an email over the weekend and I'll share!

Anyway, back to the Spring Mini, here's a project I cased from page 13 using You Are Loved - not just for Valentine's Day!

It's cute little gift box filled with cards. The colour combo is Pool Party, Real Red, Lucky Limeade and Pretty in Pink. Here's the box:

I stamped the heart in Versamark ink and then coloured the flower image with Markers and stamped onto Whisper White Card and cut out. Next, stamped the banner and snipped the ends before punching a Scallop Oval in Pretty in Pink and sticking it behind. The banner is held in place using Clear Rhinestone Brads. The pretty trim around the top is the gorgeous Red Glimmer Paper, also from the mini.

I made five mini cards to go inside using Real Red card and In Color Designer Papers. I stamped the same flower image and cut them out for each card too. To finish I popped them in a 4"x6" Cello Bag and tied together with a Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon bow.

If you'd like to order these or any other products, I have my last mini catalogue order going through on Monday 30th April. You need to have your order and payment to me by MIDDAY on Monday please. If you live local to me and can collect your order, your post and packing is FREE as a thank you from me.

A quick reminder about my Cupcake Recipe Card Index Box Class:

Booking for this class closes TOMORROW - Saturday 27th April. More details on the class can be found HERE.

Stampin' Up! Pop Up Card Part Two

As promised today I have another version of the pop up card I showed you yesterday. If you love it, the tutorial is available now in my right side bar.

This one features my favourite products of the moment, Create a Cupcake and the Cupcake Builder Punch. I still can't believe they are only going to be available for another 3 days - sob! firstly, a glimpse at the inside. I've used sugary colours for this card to match with the recipe card index box I designed - the tutorial for that will be available in a couple of weeks, after the class.

I made use here of the chunky Lace Ribbon Border Punch. I don't use it as often as I should really. Again I kept the front of the card quite simple - can you spot another new product here?

Just check out and drool over this gorgeous pleated satin ribbon - you can order it in several colours from me on 1st May. Again I've used the large 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, as this is also going to be unavailable to order after Monday. Do you wanna see the inside then?

Mmm yummy! No way am I ever going to get rid of this stamp set or punch, it will live happily in my room of craft for a long time to come. I am going to be gutted not to showcase it on my blog over the coming months, but I'm sure I will have lots of new stash to show you instead!

Stampin' Up! Up, Up and Away

Well it's wet, cold and dull here. So how about a nice bright card to cheer things up?

This is a little look at the insde of the card. Notice anything new? That's right you haven't seen these balloons on my blog before as they are one of the stamp sets that will be available to you in the new Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalogue from 1st May! Want to see the front of the card?

I've featured the Hostess Designer Papers, Cheerful Treat. You can earn these yourself for free by hosting a qualifying party at home, or why not join my next Stampers 10 virtual club starting in May - ask me for more details.

Here's the inside of the card:

I hope you like it - I've popped a tutorial for it in my right hand side bar. The large clouds are made using the Cupcake Builder punch - don't forget you only have until 30th April to order this punch. Doesn't it look fab with these balloons and the stamped clouds too? If you've already got the Cupcake punch and the hostess papers, I'm betting you'll be wanting this stamp set too!

I'll be back tomorrow with another similar but different version of this card.

Stampin' Up! Buy It whilst you can!

Ooh the pressure is officially on! There are now only EIGHT days left to order from the Stampin' Up! Spring Mini Catalogue. Do you have everything you want or need yet?

Do you realise that after 30th April you won't be able to order the Build a Cupcake stamp set or the matching Cupcake Builder Punch? Worse still - we'll also wave goodbye to the fabby 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch.

I've made a card using all of these products as I love them so much. My card is cased from a gorgeous swap I received yesterday from the lovely Ciara, a fellow demo.

I've also used the vibrant Fruit and Flowers designer papers. These will also be going at the end of the month but if you place an order of £45 or more on the goodies you want, you can get this set of papers for FREE! That straight away saves you nearly £10.

It's really easy to order Stampin' Up! products from me, just phone me on 07748 707845 or email me bluejellystampin@sky.com and let me know what you'd like. There are lots of payment options so you can choose the one that suits you.

Please don't wait until 1st May - you'll be too late!

Stampin' Up! Perfect Postage Panic

No seriously, I'm in a state of panic. The Perfect Postage stamp set and the coordinating Postage Stamp Punch are only available in the Stampin' Up! Spring Mini catalogue for another 12 days. I'm not sure I've used them enough and I'm not sure I've shown you how fabulous they are either. So to calm myself I had a sesh in the room of craft and created this:

I used to love it as a kid when my Grandma bought stamps and I was allowed to tear them apart along the perforations. I'm robbed of that now that we have the self adhesive stamps, although I don't miss licking them - yuk! So what I like about this punch is how you can stick the punched shapes together closely to look like an old style perforated sheet of stamps.

The stamp features blackberries. I've stamped them in Elegant Eggplant on a variety of shades of card. Love that we have so many colours that go together - makes crafting so easy. I did cut the squares out by hand and stuck on a punched piece of Whisper White card. Dead easy though with there being an outline to cut along:

I couldn't sleep last night so was up crafting in silence whilst everyone else was asleep and one card wasn't enough. We've been looking through loads of paint charts recently trying to find a good match to some wallpaper and this card reminded me of the charts so I made these too:

It's the same design, just flipped to portrait. I did make another in landscape too:

I wanted to do one in neutrals but my eyes started to go all blurry so I went back to bed! Not sure which is my favourite, they all use Elegant Eggplant ink and it was a fab way to delve into my masses of scraps too.

So don't panic like me, just make sure you contact me to place your order for anything you want NEED from the Spring Mini before it's too late. Just 12 days left.

Oh and this green card is the one I'm popping in to the So Shelli Challenge this month:

Stampin' Up! with some doodling

I'm supposed to be doing paperwork all day today but ahem, I got distracted! Hubby is busy chopping in some new electrics in our hallway and landing and I've had to nip out to buy a matress for Blake's new bed and then I saw the challenge over at Less is More. I couldn't resist a spot of doodling!

I've made a set of five congratulations cards using the Little Additions stamp set. My card blanks are from Whisper White card and I drew in the line for the bunting with an Early Espresso Marker. Next up I stamped the bunting in Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Certainly Celery and Pool Party. It took a while using the stamp-ma-jig but I like the effect so it was worth it. I wrote in the 'congratulations' sentiment so hope that count's towards doodling too.

I stamped the table first and then using Markers coloured the lampshade stamp and did my best to line it up. The 'celebrate' sentiment is also from Little Additions. I doodled in a hanging light switch to finish off.

Right, I'd better get back to my paperwork before Spark spots I'm skiving!

Stampin' Up! Aviary

If you liked the colour si used in the sneak peek of my next all day class yesterday, you'll probably like this card too!

I've used the same colours as they were out on my desk, Pool Party, Pretty in Pink, Wisteria Wonder and Crumb Cake. Not surprisingly I am running low on card stock in all these colours!

I've used the set Aviary for the bird cage, stamped on Whisper White card and cut out. The flowers have been stamped in the same colours inside the bird cage using one of the flowers from Itty Bitty Bits and punched flowers stuck on the outside using one of the Ittby bitty Punches

I popped the flowers on to my Mat Pack and pushed the centres to give them some dimension before sticking down with Glue Dots and finsihed with the smallest of the Self Adhesive Pearls.

The decorative strip is simply card punched with the Scallop Dotted Ribbon Border Punch and a sentiment from Oval All - one of the earlier sets I bought from Stampin' Up!

Most of the time I look forward to the weekend so I can smuggle in some crafting, but this weekend I have to catch up on my paperwork and if I get 5 minutes to craft I'll be lucky! I might have to do some late night creating as I have laods of ideas buzzing round my head at the moment.
