Nursery Suite Class and Tutorial

It's Monday and that's normally when I post my Cupcake Craft DT project. I have decided to step down from the fabby team at Cupcake to give me more time to concentrate on Stampin' Up! and family time. Please continue to support the team by joining in each week.

Yesterday I said I'd show you more of the Nursery Suite class pics from Saturday, so grab a cuppa and have a look. But first, I've popped the tutorial in my side bar so if you'd like to make all the projects full photo instructions are here!

Right then, here is the third set of projects which I tried to make less baby themed and more male themed!

And finally the baby themed projects:

A bit of everything:

And of course time to spot yourself if you were there!!

It's such a lovely bright room to craft in with tons of natural light

Mary looks like she's contemplating what to stamp first! Anne is just going for it:

Today is going to be all about my and my boys as tomorrow is Zac's first  morning at his new pre-school which is part of the infact school he will attend when he's older. Watch this space for that fist school uniform pic!

Nursery Suite Class

Yesterday along with one of my downline Tracy, we ran a fabby all day class with a bunch of lovely ladies. I'm posting about it today and tomorrow as there is too much to show in just one post! So, here is the first set of projects we made:

Everything at the class was made using the Nursery Suite papers and Quick Accents and we managed to stay away from making everything about babies! These are the pink and girly projects and I think they are my fav from the day. The second collection is the 3-D items and Spring cards:

Last time my all day class was featured in Quick Cards Made Easy magazine (issue 83 and still in the shops!) and some of the gang were able to spot themselves in the article. Here's hoping over the next two days I manage to share photos of you all! Round one.......ooh 'tis me being silly! I don't often get the opportunity to stand on a stage and so this is me doing my impression of a chad (remember them?) behind the display boards.

Here's the stampin station:

This table doesn't half craft fast! They go for it I can tell you.

Here's us posing at the stamping station  (after we'd taken our glasses off!)

The other table - Jan was here to chill out and have a laugh! Hope it worked Jan. Not sure what Margaret lost under there?

Oh and this is the room before everyone arrived:

So thanks to Garaldine, Pauline, Glenis, Margaret, Maggi, Mary, Anne, Lorna, Jo, Dianne, Jan, Janet, Carol, Sue and Tracy for letting me have such a fun day.

Back tomorrow with more and the rest of the projects too!

Recycled Jelly Bean Tub

I don't often alter things but my Hubby got an acrylic paint tin thing for Christmas full of jelly beans. You may have noticed I pilfered many of said jelly beans for some of my previous craft projects and now I've gone a step further and half inched the tin too! Remaining jelly beans have been safely housed in a tub!

I've been admiring the Nursery Suite papers and accents in the new catalogue and decided it was time to have another play, so I decorated the tub and made a card to match:

I haven't even done any stamping on this project, just used the pretty papers and accent stickers! Even popped a couple on the lid of the tub too. Here's the card:

I've used Early Espresso for the base and simply layered up the papers and accents. Isn't the bunny cute? Wondering what's in the tub?

Well being as there are bunnies on the paper and accent stickers I figured I should pop a bunny in the tim too!

If you are coming to my all day class on 29th January - you'll get to have a play with these gorgeous papers and accents too!

I'm going to join in with:
