Stampin' Up Walk in the Park

Eeeeeeew I am proper full of cold today, feel 'orrible!!! Still I am sure a few days rest and I'll be right as rain. Luckily I made some projects in advance - so in true Blue Peter style....here's some I made earlier:

I've been really enjoying playing with Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio and downloaded a beautiful digi kit Walk in the Park:

So I made s set of thank you cards by designing just the card front and printing them on to A4 photo paper before cutting and layering onto Melon Mambo card. Here's a close up of the detail. I added a real Self Adhesive Pearl for the eye - that's not a digital one! Love the 'drop shadow' feature which adds depth to the project.

And here are the cards all together. So pleased with how they turned out. Don't worry, I'm not going to turn from creating from paper to completely digi but sometimes it's a great time saver and what's more I had no mess to clear up. Plus I have the image saved so next time I'm short on thank you cards I can just go to my file and start printing some more.

Want to see one of the projects I made yesterday? We recently visited Legoland Windsor for our 10th wedding anniversary (yes we took the boys with us!) and I had to make a 12x12 scrapbook page using the My Digital Studio Software:

The great thing about My Digital Studio is that it accesses all the fonts you have installed on your PC already. I downloaded the Lego style font for free and everything else on the page is from My Digital Studio software. I recently purchased an A3+ printer so am able to print out individual pages at home but Stampin' Up! has arranged a fabulous printer and you can send all your projects off to be printed professionally in true Stampin' Up! colours etc - all done through the software.

Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio Scrapbook Layout

Last week at our cousin's naming nay another of our cousin's took a lovely photo of us (albeit Blake escaping in the background) and as my printer is being temperamental at the moment, desperate to create a scrapbook page with it I used Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio software and made this:

I really enjoyed playing with so many different embellishments and stamps. I love that you can re-colour them, change the size, rotate them and create different layers too. I can't wait for this software to become available from Stampin' Up! When it is you'll be able to purchase it from me along with loads of additional downloads and stuff - great for all you digi crafters out there.
