Stampin' Up! Jubilee Part 3

The day of Jelly's Jolly Jubilee class has arrived and I'm sharing another of the cards we'll be making:

I'd got a fun boys party card in mind when I designed this one! I'm not a massive fan of punch art as a rule but for some reason I'd got it in my head that I really wanted to make one of the Queen's Guards. I can promise you this wasn't my first attempt - the others were shameful! I've made him using a selection of punches and a little cutting too. The sentiment is from the exclusive Hostess set Happiest Birthday Wishes which I have heat set with White Embossing Powder.

Once I'd made the guard I wanted something else to represent London and had a picture of Big Ben in my mind. Sadly I don't have a stamp of that, but I do have a bus stamp in Every Little Bit and red London Buses are a bit of a British icon. I had to be awkward and do some blue ones!

I stamped the bus repeat using the Stamp-ma-jig as a guide and then simply coloured the buses in using Pacific Point and Poppy Parade Markers.

Back tomorrow with more Jubilee goodness!
