Stampin' Up' Everyday Enchantment Papers

Ooh still lovely and sunny which always makes me smile. As there are only a few days left of the Sale-A-Bration promotion from Stampin' Up! I decided to give my Everyday Enchantment Designer Papers another airing:

If you love these 12x12 vintage style papers they can be yours FREE with an order of £45 or more. You do need to get your order to me and pay by Saturday afternoon this week. Once it's April, these papers will retire and no longer be available.

I cased these cards from Mary Anne Reiner and tried the same card with three different papers from Everyday Enchantment and different emossing folders too.

I love the use of the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die. It's one I don't use very often so it was fun to use it again. The sentiments are from the Sale-A-Bration sets Elementary Elegance and Outlined Occasions. Again these stamp sets will retire for good on Saturday, so if you want them you do need to place your Stampin' Up! order with me ASAP!

A quick post from me today as I'm uber busy and have loads to do. I'm putting orders through this week so if you are local to me and can collect your order, you can have FREE post and packing too. Do need to have your order by Friday though.

Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration 5 days left

Now I've been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for a few years now and every year once the Sale-a-Bration promotion comes to an end, I always get a customer who wants to order and get some of the sets that you can earn FREE during the promotion with every £45 product spend.

So, to take advantage of this fabulous offer and get yourself FREE stamp sets or designer papers, please contact me to place your order BEFORE Sunday!! You can pay by Credit or Debit card, cash, cheque or bank transfer. Obviously if you're paying by cheque, you need to order now to ensure your cheque clears in time.

Towards the end of Sale-A-Bration I try to post a project using more than one of the sets and this time I've used three:

I've used this years' In Colours - Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder and Island Indigo. I wante dto create cards that looked a it like postcards to show off one of the images from Fresh Vintage. I've stamped it on Whisper White card and punched out with the new Postage Stamp punch which is in the Spring Mini Catalogue.

I added a crown from Elementary Elegance above the sentiment - how perfect would this stamp be to create projects for the upcoming Silver Jubilee later this year? The main sentiment is from Outlined Occasions - I inked up the stamp with Versmark ink followed by the In Colour ink and then heat set using Clear Embossing Powder to give it a bit of definition. Finished off with the lush Ruffled Ribbons.

Of course Sale-A-Bration comiing to an end also means you don't have many days left to take advantage of the additional offer open to you if you decide to sign as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. If you join our team before 2pm Friday 30th March you can choose any stamp set from the Idea Book adn Catalogue for FREE up to the value of £44.95 (that's any set by the way!). You get that on top of the fabulous Starter Kit which costs just £119 for over £250 worth of product.

Join Team Jelly by Friday this week and you'll also receive the following goodies from me:

The photo above shows as example free stamp set that you'd get from Stampin' Up! in the Sale-a-bration offer. I also give you a shopper bag, samples of ink, card and markers along with designer paper swatches to help you kick start your journey as a demonstrator.

Stampin' Up! Buttons

I've had a busy few days with a stall at a ladies pamper evening on Friday and again at a craft fair yesterday. Thought I'd share some of the new things I've beens selling. I've been having oodles of fun creating jewellery using Stampin' Up! buttons.

I made some bracelets but sold some before I took the photos! The bracelets are some I had in my stash from my jewellery making days but you can now buy Stampin' Up! Chain Bracelets - they are in the Simply Adorned Range in the Spring Mini Catalogue. Products in there are only available until the end of March so don't wait too long.

Stampin' Up! Buttons come in a range of colour collections that coordinate beautifully with all our other products too. Designs include large marbled buttons, double circle and small flowers. Best of all you get 72 in a really cute tub to store them in too, you can decorate the tub once you've used your buttons up.

I made some rings too:

If you wants to order some buttons, please contact me at bluejellystampin@sky.com to place your order, or if you want to buy some ready made jewellery, I can help you with that too.

Don't forget you have until this coming Saturday to take advantage of Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration promotion where you can choose yourself a FREE stamp set or paper from the brochure with every £45 you spend on product.

Stampin' Up! Mocha Morning Journals

Morning - I'm mid the messyprocess of baking chocolate cupcakes (dairy free) with the boys soon to be followed by strawberry cupcakes (full dairy!) so can't stop for long. Yesterday I bought some big chunky notebooks and transformed them into something I think looks quite pretty:

I used Basic Black, Very Vanilla and the very lush flocked Mocha Morning Designer Papers. I actually made 6 of them but four looked better in a photo for some reason.

Do you wanna see a close up of how gorgeous and strokeable these Stampin' Up! papers are?

The books have been finished of with a flat bow made using Basic Black Satin Ribbon and Self Adhesive Pearls.

The label stamp is from Notably Ornate and is layered up using the Big Shot Lots of Tags Die.

I thought you might like to see a photo of Zac in his crocodile costume, holding his snappy fella. We saw it on Art Attack and had to make one!

Of course I used Stampin' Up! card and some punches to help me with his mask! It's Wild Wasabi - had to smuggle some in somewhere.

Off to trash the kitchen somemore.

Stampin' Up! Birthday in a box tutorial

Aaargh - been having one of those days when 'tinternet just isn't playing fair. I use firefox and I remember last time it went so slow it did nothing, the fab guys at Sky helped me fix it with some simple tweaks. Did I write them down? Nope, any ideas most welcome!

Anyway, quite a few of you have emailed me asking for a tutorial for the Birthday in a Box I did. I have done one and if it's not in my right side bar - it will be in a few moments.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, here is another colour version:

This one is using Basic Black, Basic Gray and Pretty in Pink. Still think the Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder is my favouite so far.

Back tomorrow - internet permitting.

Stampin' Up! Fabric Brooches

I've been wanting to make some brooches using Stampin' Up! fabric for ages now but never got around to it. So last week I set to it:

I've made a few using Stampin' Up! Timeless Portrait Fabric and the others using Spice Cake Fabric. The centres are Antique Brads.

I used backs on them that I eventually found that have both a brooch and a hair clip on:

Not the easiest thing to take a photo of yourself in the mirror, in focus and not getting so close that you can see my grey roots! Just pleased I managed it without  getting my hands holding the camera in shot. Now as a brooch:

One of the things I love about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is the variety of projects I can make using the products available to me. I've been busy making jewellery today but more about that another time. I'm on a deadline to get a project competed for Zac so I'm off to stick my hand back in a crocodile's mouth!

I have to make more of these lovely brooches as I sold out on Friday evening and have two more events coming up this weekend. Crocodile's first though.

Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogue Case

Firstly - Happy Mothers Day to all you Mums out there. I've had a perfect start to the day with a good sleep followed by a lie in. Yep - the boys stayed at their Grandparents last night. My treat. Hubby is going to collect them soon to bring them home for a family day together.

Secondly - I can't take credit for my creations today as they are all cased from the Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogue. See, when I'm lost for what to do I tend to flick through the catalogue. It's why Stampin' Up! called it an Idea Book - it's FULL of ideas of things to make, you just need to remember to look.

So Mothers Day means generally I make three cards. One for Mum, one for my Step Mum and one for my Mum in law. Here goes:

I love looking at them all together like this. You can see more detail in the Idea Book and Catalogue on pages 110 - 111. Not got a copy? just drop me an email and I can get one in the post to you.

So my colour combo is Melon Mambo, Crumb Cake,  Soft Suede and Sahara Sand. Here's the first card:

I've changed the stamp sets to those shown in the Idea Book and Catalogue as I wanted to use some of the stamps currently available during Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration promotion. These sets are FREE with orders of £45 by the way. Here I've used Fresh Vintage and added a sentiment from For My Family which is in the main catalogue.  Additional products used are Beveled Windowpanes, Mini Vintage Tags and Mini Brads. The ribbon is Pear Pizzaz Seam Binding Ribbon which is so easy to use and tie gorgeous bows with too. Oh and the pretty pink trim is created using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. Here's a close up:

Next is a card using a beautiful stamp set Growing Green:

This was fun to make and I enjoyed breaking away from my usual style and doing a spot of paper tearing and I think more detail than normally I'd stretch to. This is pretty much a direct copy of the one in the Idea Book and Catalogue as I didn't want to change it. The Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon again is crumpled before forming the bow. The sentiment from Delightful Dozen is stamped in VersaMark and heat set with Melon Mambo Embossing Powder. I didn't fancy using my sewing machine on card so I created faux stitching using the Piercing Tool and Mat Pack and drew in the stitches with a White Gel Pen.

The last card:

Now the card in the Idea Book and Catalogue uses Paper Daises which I don't have so I made my own using the Blossom Party Big Shot Die which you can find in the Stampin' Up! Spring Mini Catalogue. I cut them on Textured Whisper White card and coloured them using Melon Mambo Ink and a Sponge Dauber. The flower centres are punched in Melon Mambo card with the Boho Blossoms Punch. The background stamping is again using the Fresh Vintage Sale-a-Bration stamp set. the cute small flowers are made using the four edged flower from Itty Bitty Punch Set.

Not often I use so many different products in one go but it was fun trying something new and I'm going to run a class soon featuring cards like these. Watch this space.

Off now to enjoy being a pampered Mummy for the day.

Stampin' Up! Christening Card

I was so honoured when my friend announced he's going to be a God Dad and wanted me to make a card for the occasion. Now normally when it comes to cards like this, I tend to print out some personalised details on the 'pooter. Sadly - my printer is having 'printer' issues at the moment. So not wanting to let Mr Ginger Jo down, I set about my mission.

Yes I know, Stampin' Up! have the MOST perfect stamp set for Christenings - 'My Special Day', which my lovely downline Tracy had offered me the use of - but I'd said no because I was going to use my printer. So in the end.......

Yep that's right I made a box! With a card inside:

I was going to leave the photos at just this because I have to be honest and admit my stamping may be a teeny weeny bit wonky - but then I decided it just adds to the character and to share:

I've used Marina Mist, Pacific Point and Whisper White. Without my Stamp-ma-jig this card would have been doomed, I even drew pencil lines in first in the hope of being really neat! The letters in the name are all stamped individually using Just Perfect Alphabet. Be gentle with me and just pretend the 't' and the 'e' in Christening look straight to you! See sometime's even though Stampin' Up! provide us with the best tools to create with, sometimes I just don't get it right.

I've used a double sentiment from Petite Pairs which if had gone wonky would have made me cry.

The die cut frame is one of a set of four Lots of Tags and layered with 1 1/4" and 1" punched circles. the little face is one of the cuties from All In The family, I even phoned my friend first to see is Samuel had straight or curly hair 'cos you have to get these things right.

I added 'it's your' and 'day' from It's Your Day before and after christening'. A handy little set we got at Stampin' Up! European Convention last year. To add a bit more, the bottom half of the card is embossed with Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.

Finally, the inside. Decorated to match using another sentiment from Petite Pairs, which reads 'I'm here for you no matter what' which I think sums up the rules of being a God parent.

So my Captain Chaos and Major Mayhem have been succesfully deployed to their grandparents leaving me in peace to get some tidying up done before Hubby gets home from work. Happy St Patrick's day if you're celebrating!

Stampin' Up! Birthday in a box part two

Thought I'd share another version of my 'Birthday in a box' I showed you yesterday. This time I've used Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Concord Crush:

I absolutely love Stampin' Up! Melon Mambo Embossing Powder - it looks so fab against the Concord Crush card.

The Concord Crush card is only available until the end of September now as it will retire then along with Blushing Bride, Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait and Pear Pizzaz. If you order them now as a pack of mixed  A4 card, along with the In Colour Ribbons and the In colour Designer Papers AND the five In Colour Ink Pads, you'd also be able to choose TWO of the FREE Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration stamp sets too!

Just email me at bluejellystampin@sky.com or call me on 07748 707845 to place your order. You can even pay by credit and debit card now to speed things right up.

I've got to make up more of these box sets ready for my stall at the pamper evening at the Lindsay Morgan Hall on Marshall Hill Drive, Mapperley, Nottingham NG5 6FY (at St James' Church) this Friday. The evening starts at 7pm and ends at 10pm. Loads of pamper treatments on offer as well as lots of fab stalls to buy from too. It's in aid of the local pre-school and there will be a massive raffle too.

Stampin' Up! Birthday in a Box

Today I have re-made something I made around this time last year and put a bit of a twist on it. I've called it my 'Birthday in a Box'. Here's why:

Here's the box. I've used Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party and Elegant Eggplant as my combo. As usual I've coordinated the ribbon, card, designer paper and inks. Stampin' Up! really does make life easy for us. I made the box template myself using a variety of Stampin' Up! punches and my faithful trimmer.

Here's what you see when the lid is taken off. You can see when the lid is on as I've used a window sheet but can't get a photo of it without the reflection of the conservatory roof!

And here is everything - my Birthday in a Box:

I cna't take credit for the idea of the battery operated tealight cake as I saw Pam Morgan demo it at Stampin' Up! convention in 2010. I've added a cute little birthday card in the box. I also plan to wrap it all in cello and add a tag and ribbon tie to finish it off but I've run out of time today.

Here's the cake close up:

Purples aren't my 'go to' colours as a rule so it was nice to try something different.

Stampin' Up! Create a Cupcake or Four

Ooh school inset days....It's not been too bad. Zac came with Blake and I to toddler speech therapy this morning and he was so good. He helped Blake and sat quietly when I asked him too. Having said that I think it might have distracted Blake a little having his big brother there!!

Anyhoo, I've made a few sticky note books, although I have depleted my stash of mini pens so I'd better pop and get some tomorrow!

I love making these and I love that Stampin' Up! makes life so easy for me by having stamps and punches that coordinate to save me all that cutting out! I've used the Cupcake Builder Punch and Create a Cupcake stamp set.  My colur combo is Pool Party, Regal Rose, So Saffron and Certainly Celery. My inspiration came from the colours of the sticky notes themselves.

Here's a close up:

When the weather is nice like today, I've started taking my light box outside to get the best pictures I can. Wish every day was like today. I've used matching card, designer papers and inks and also added some Chocolate Chip designer paper for the cupcake bases. The Scallop Circle is the new  2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch in the Stampin' Up! Spring Mini Catalogue, only available until the end of April so don't waste time getting yours.

I did cut out the ribbon bows by hand as that's not a part of the punch - how I wish it was. The little flower is from Itty Bitty Punch set and I've finished it off with a large Self Adhesive Pearl.

Now I need to open the patio doors and let my boys loose on the outside world so we all get some fresh air.

I'm popping these in a challenge - over at Cupcake Craft Challenge this week Louise has set the theme of 'going dotty'.  The DT have come up with some fab stuff.

Stampin' Up! Timeless Portrait Fabric Owls

Oooh sunshine always puts me in such a good mood. Especially when hubby isn't working and can take the boys to the park and leave me home to craft! It was time to air the Toyota again today (Ahem, it's a sewing machine NOT a car) and make these:

Yep - more fabric owls. This time using Stampin' Up! Timeless Portrait Fabric. I've used the huge Spice Cake Designer Buttons again for the eyes in Pear Pizzaz and almost matched them up with Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon. I did try the Pear Pizzaz Stitched Poly Ribbon but somehow it just didn't do it for me!

Here's my favourite fabric owl of the three:

I have to make these in every fabric Stampin' Up! do now as I jut love them to bits. Don't forget the fabric owl PDF tutorial is available in my side bar if you want to make one of these yourself.

Followers will know that a while back now I started the task of making a Star Wars Death Star for my boys. Here's where we got up to on Friday afternoon:

We had THE messiest afternoon with paper mache, it was great fun. Well for a while anyway and then the boys decided glue looked better on the floor, the chairs, the table.........so Mummy got a little bit of a tut on and put it all away to get back out another day!
