Ooh I'm a bit late joining in with Mandi and Chrissie's latest challenge over at Less is More. Mainly because I was at Stampin' Up! training on Saturday and it's all been a bit hectic since then. Oh and then there's the fact that I always struggle with pastel colours, or I think I do. It's taken me ages but I do quite like how this turned out:
I've made a 5" square card with Baja Breeze as the base. Now the colour combo was pure accident, you know when you use a stamp and sometimes first you test it on scrap? Maybe that's just me, anyway I had done that yesterday with another stamp in these colours and decided to use them on a card.
The circle images and the sentiment are from the Just Believe set. Stamped here in Baja Breeze, Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery. I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and drew the line using a ruler with the white gel pen.
Zac is busy creating a picture of his own at the moment with his Thomas the Tank Engine Fuzzy Felt:
It's a peaceful household today as Blake is at his Grandparents and in his absence I have decided that in fact - he is the noisy one, not Zac!

I love this card - the colours and images are just perfect and the broken line sentiment is perfect.
ReplyDeleteLove how you have moved the flower image around so it doesn't look uniform. Your colours are so calming and relaxing. Think the line either side of your sentiment really makes the card extra special:-)
