Stampin' Up! Soda Pop Tops

Ooh it's soooo windy here in the UK - we're not used to adverse weather, snow, wind, ice etc. We need to toughen up a bit don't we?

So today's project features the new Stampin' Up! Soda Pop Tops. My friend Teresa inspired me to make these by forcing me to buy the notepads to decorate. Only kidding - she didn't really, she merely suggested it and five notebooks fell into my basket!

Stampin_Up_Demonstrator

I've decorated them to match the sticky note book covers I made last week. Using Crumb Cake, Pretty in Pink, Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder Card

I've added a strip of Crumb Cake Designer Paper to the spine and then the rest of the decoration mirrors the sticky note books. The sentiment is from Creatively Yours and the crown from A Fitting Occasion.

Stampin_Up

With the addition of a Soda Pop Top. This is one of the smaller ones, I popped it through the Big Shot to flatten it and then punched a circle of DSP with the circle punch from Itty Bitty Punches and then popped a Self Adhesive Pearl in the middle. Ooh real stitching - check me out!

Join_Stampin_Up

One final photo as I have a bit of a thing for seeing things stacked up or all together and this one pleases me lots!

Stampin_Up

Much kitchen activity to go and do now, I joined fat club this week so have to stick to the food plan! Wish me luck.

Stampin' Up! Papillon Potpourri meets Paper Doillies

Evening. Hope you're all having a fun Friday?
Earlier on I shared a look at some cards I was working on and now I'm showing you the finished cards. I've made 20 in total. Here is the Pool Party version.

Stampin_Up

I stamped the background in Crumb Cake ink using Papillon Potpourri and a sentiment from A Word For You. I've sewn on the Paper Dollie and die cut a banner using Hearts a Flutter Framelits.

Stampin_Up

I've punched the butterflies using Elegant and Itty Butterfly Punches from More Amore Designer Papers - these are in the Stampin' Up! Spring Seasonal Catalogue.

Stampin_Up

To finish I've popped a Neutrals Flower Button. I've been on a right craft a thon this week and have oodles of creations to share with you over the next few days.

Stampin' Up! Catalogue Case

Sometimes using the Stampin' Up! Catalogue to get your creative ideas is a good thing, I had a load of stash out on my desk from making my sticky note holders and instead of clearing it away to start afresh, I flipped through the Spring Seasonal Catalogue and found a project to case. Here they are in the making:

Stampin_Up

I made myself 20 cards in Pool Party and Crumb Cake using the Paper Doilies from the Stampin' Up! Spring Seasonal Catalogue with More Amore Designer Papers and Papillon Potpourri stamps.

Stampin_Up

Was fun to get sewing on card again too! I'll post the finished cards later on for you.

Stampin' Up! Sticky Note Holders

OK I teased you earlier with a glimpse at the projects I'd been working on today - well some of them. I thought I had the day to  myself but Zac decided he wanted to come home and be with Mummy so he was delivered back home at about 11.30 whilst Blake went to ride on the trams for the afternoon!

So my project for the day is a set of sticky note holders:

Stampin_Up

I made 15 as I have a stall at a craft fair coming up soon. I've used Crumb Cake Card, First Edition and Comfort Cafe Designer Papers teamed up with Pool Party and Regal Rose card with a hint of Wisteria Wonder.

I used the Colour Spritzer and Soft Suede Marker to create the background and cut the banners by hand.

Stanpin_Up

Added some Flower Trim, a punched heart (Small Heart Punch) and a flower (Itty Bitty Punches). Had to show you a close up so that you can see my real sewing!

Stampin_Up

Whilst I was busy - Zac did a spot of crafting too. He used up some left over punched butterflies from another project and a Soda Pop Top too - monkey - that was for me to use!

Stampin_Up

Back tomorrow with oodles more.

Stampin' Up! More Amore Fabric Door Stop

A late post from me today, the House of Jelly is oh so quiet as the boys are sleeping over at Grannie and Gangans for the night ...woo-hoo!!!! Not that I'm excited at the prospect of not being bounced on at 5.30 in the morning by Blake insisting on telling me "I need a wee Mummy" closely followed by  "I'm hungry Mummy - get up!" Generally followed by: "Daddy - Mummy won't get up" inevitably followed by both Blake and Zac pulling the duvet cover off us both until one of us (usually The Spark) caves.

So if you follow me on Facebook you'll have seen me teasing you about a fabric project I was working on yesterday and here it is. I've used Stampin' Up! More Amore Fabric to create this door stop.

Stampin_Up

I love the newsprint style fabric with the bright red to contrast. The door stop stands about 30cm (12") tall and holds our new wooden doors in place. I made a fabric ruffle flower for the front and a matching tie for around the to to keep all the rice inside.

Here are a few different shots of it - you can see I used the red fabric on the base too.

Stampin_Up

I popped a flower in the centre from Flower Trim, loving using these at the moment.

Stampin_Up

I'm in the process of writing up the tutorial and it will be available in the next few days.

Stampin' Up! Word Play

I'd love to say it's been a quiet day in the House of Jelly but my ears would tell me off for fibbing! We have kept ourselves busy making pom pom animals, pretending to be butterflies growing out of our cocoons, building train track, Lego and learning new words with reading. Still this afternoon in the fun that was Mum Vs Mini Beasts.....Mini Beasts won!

So here are some cards I made earlier (!) and luckily photographed on a brighter day too.

Stampin_Up

They are cards for my teamies who promoted during Stampin' Up! recent Sale-a-Bration promotion, a card from me to say well done you. Love seeing my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators doing well.
I've used Baja Breeze (on it's way out folks - buy yours before it has chance to say toodle-pip), Patio Party Designer Papers and Core'dinations card stock in Primrose Petals.

I stamped the sentiment from Word Play in Primrose Petals ink on to Whisper White card and cut out with the die from Apothecary Accents Framelits. For a bit of something extra I used the Essentials Paper Piercing Kit to prick holes around the edge and used a Midnight Muse Marker to draw in faux stitching. I stamped the sentiment again in Baja Breeze and cut out and for the cute looking button punched out a circle of Patio Party Papers (the punch is from Itty Bitty Punches set) and added an epoxy bubble - these come in the Designer Builder Brads set.

Stampin_Up

The Core'dinations card has been popped through the Big Shot with the Cloudy Day Textured Embossing Folder and sanded over to show the inner core.

Stampin_Up

Looking forward to tucking the Mini Beasts up in bed in a few minutes and hoping for a much quieter evening!

Stampin' Up! Bitty Butterfly

Aw we've had lots of giggles in the house of Jelly today. My teamie and friend Louise came for a play date with her cutie daughter Grace. I'd made a card and a gift for Louise and it was great to give it her in person, of course it was all made with Stampin' Up! products:

Stampin_Up

Both are made with Crumb Cake Card. First I used the Colour Spritzer Tool with a Soft Suede Marker to create the splattered background. Next I cut banners from various designer papers and stuck them down.

Stampin_Up

Then for some faux stitching I pierced holes using the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack and drew in the stitching with the Soft Suede Marker. I stamped a doily from Delicate Doilies, punched out, layered with a smaller circle and then used the Bitty Butterfly Punch with more DSP and Self Adhesive Pearls.

Stampin_Up

The matchbox style slider box is made in just the same way with an Antique Brad to pull it open.

Stampin_Up

And if you're wondering how much chaos the kidlets all got up to......Grace was no shy lady and hopped straight in bed with Zac!

Enjoy the rest of your day

Stampin' Up! Layered Labels

Oooh I can hardly keep my eyes open. We took Zac out for the first time today - to a country park with a picnic as thought if he is still infectious - we could keep him away from other kids. He's fast asleep on the sofa now bless him and I'm considering joining him! So a couple of congratulations cards today for you:

Stampin_Up

I've used Bashful Blue card for the base (it's retiring so if you love it you'll need to order some before it sells out!) layered with Elegant Eggplant which I popped through the Big Shot with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. the sentiment is from Layered Labels and die cut with the coordinating Apothecary Accents Framelits.

I've decorated the cards with Gumball Green Stitched Ribbon and some gorgeous Brights Glimmer Brads, so sparkly and just lush.

And here are my boys enjoying themselves at Rufford Park today:

Righto, I'm off for a spot of sofa loafing!

Stampin' Up! That's The Ticket

Boy oh boy are we have tinterweb issues today. The Spark is again on the phone to Sky trying to sort it out. Our Internet speed appears to be powered by rubber band currently rather than the 20MB download speed we pay for. Tuts!

Anyhoo, here's a card I made last week. I cased it from one made by Dawn Olchefske and it's the one featured in my blog header too.

Stampin_Up

I've used the Honeycomb Embossing Folder on Core'dinations Pool Party Card and given it a light sanding with our new Stampin' Up! Stampin' Sanding System. I've used quite a mix of products including elements from the Artisan Embellishments Kit and the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and coordinating Framelits.

Stampin_Up

I love the vintage flower, it's just cut from the roll of Flower Trim - you get 1.8 metres which I promise you is an awful lot of flowers for you money.

Just found out we can't get our Internet fixed for a couple of days now so I'm going to have to put up with slow for now. Here's to faster and better!

Stampin' Up! From My Heart

Wow - I appear to have survived week one of the school holidays. Of course I have had help from my lovely in-laws who have taken Blake out a few times to let Zac get some quiet and rest up. I hope they took some photos of Blake as he's spent hours riding on the Nottingham trams wearing his 'engine driver' cap! Great for scrap booking - fingers crossed.

Sometimes we need to make cards for difficult times and I'm sharing one of those today:

Stampin_Up

it's a 5" square card using Natural Composition Speciality Papers (so NOT paper it's good card stock). I've added a strip of lace from the Artisan Embellishments Kit which you can find in the Stampin' Up! Spring Seasonal Catalogue. The sentiment is From My Heart stamp set in Crumb Cake on Pool Party Card

Stampin_Up

I've used a Blender Pen and ink from the pad squeezed into the lid to add a bit of shading. Flowers are punched in Crumb Cake card with Itty Bitty Punches and finished with a few Self Adhesive Pearls.

I believe the next twenty minutes of my life have already been mapped out for me in the form of picking up all the bits of Play Doh that the mini beasts have positioned across the floor for me. Bless them!

Stampin' Up! Colour Refresh

Ooooooh exciting news - are you ready? Hang on to your knickers crafters, we have GOSSIP!

Stampin_Up

OK - so a few years ago we had a whopping Colour Renovation - now it's time for:

Stampin_Up

OK - if you don't want to click on the pic, what it means is that we have a NEW annual catalogue launching in July. To coincide with the new Stampin' Up! catalogue, we are introducing 4 new colours and bringing back 6 previous in colours. How fabby is that?

Stampin_Up

So that also means that to squeeze in these scrummy new colours, we kind of have to say goodbye to some current ones. So if you LOVE any of these:

 Stampin_Up

You might want to think about stocking up now as once they are gone - they are gone and won't be re-stocked. That goes for inks, markers, card stock ribbons etc.....Eeek!
So, credit cards at the ready folks and pop your order through to me at:

Stampin' Up! Typeset Alphabet Bunting

Aah Zac is feeling a little better today so I foresee many toys scattering the floor in a while. I think the Grandparents are going to take Blake for a swim after lunch so it'll be a tad quieter in here than it is now. I need to wear the Sparks ear defenders when these two get going!

So a few weeks ago I did a Stampin' Up! party for the lovely Sarah and she had some great stuff about her home that she'd created herself. I was particularly taken with some bunting she'd made and decided I had to have a go myself!

Stampin_Up

I've used the Stampin' Up! Bigshot dies Typeset Alphabet Bigz. It's a great set to invest in as it includes 26 letters, 10 numbers and 1 symbol too. Each is about 3.2cm high and all on a set of 4 dies.

I cut two of each letter, one on designer papers and the other on coordinating plain card.
then a bit of Tombow on the plain card, popped the Linen Thread in place and added the designer paper letter over the top.

Love the shadows on the wall:

Stampin_Up

Looking forward to this evening, it's time for monthly craft club. Can't wait to see everyone.
