Project Life - my first attempt

Ooh I have been wanting to have a go at Project Life for ages now. True creators of Project Life - please forgive me for not following 'the plan' I'm just going to use photos and create layouts when I feel like it, I can't be doing with feeling pressured into a page a day or a week or whatever, I'm just not that organised and so my pages will come when the mood takes me and I hope you find that OK.

So here we go, drum roll please......

I make no excuses for the amount of pinkness, in a household chock full of boys, I need pink in my life, I crave girlie things and any excuse to create pink, sparkly and feminine is not to be sniffed at!

The photos are all taken from a recent Scentsy event I attended in Manchester with my fabby friends, Jo, Tara, Sandy and Sally. We had an absolute riot of a time (as well as learning and business appropriate stuff too) and took many 'selfies' along the way. Actually Jo wasn't very good at taking selfies and trying to show her the best way was hilarious - maybe I'll share those photos one day too.

I had to include the photo of Dave (the Minion from Despicable Me) as he opened the event dancing away to Happy by Pharrell, perfect start.

Then there was madness waiting in line for the fun photo booth and even more fun on the sofa with company CEO's Heidi and Orville Thompson. A weekend I will always remember - even without project Life to document it for me.

I hid some details about the event in the pocket cards at the top, even snuck in my ribbons and cards from the day too. If you're wondering what I've used to create it all, it's a mix of Stampin' Up! products and Becky Higgins Kiwi Edition project Life Core kit.

I invested in a Cannon Selphy printer - got it up here in the Room of Craft as my large A3 printer lives downstairs - energetic I am not - so having a small compact printer up here suits me just fine. I did struggle however to take photos of my finished layouts - any help or suggestions would be awesome please!!

Righto, it's the school holidays here and my boys need feeding - back soon.

Hugs
