Stampin' Up! Reason To Smile

Aaah bliss, a peaceful house for the afternoon as Major Mayhem and his partner in crime Commander Chaos have vacated the house of Jelly to stay over with their Grandparents.

So I snuck in a spot of crafting within seconds of them leaving (Mummy does miss you boys!) and had a play with the stamp set you can earn for FREE this month when you spend £60 on products with me.

Stampin Up

I made a card and matching tag. the card base is Crumb Cake and my colours are Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Pretty in Pink. To create the effect I stamped the large and small flower randomly with Versamark Ink, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool. Next step is to use one of our Blender Pens along with some Whisper White Ink and gently colour the whole image to give it a white base.

Once it's dry you then colour over either with Markers or the Blender Pen with ink lifted direct from the pads.

The tag is one from a set for the Big Shot called Two Tags. I added a loop of Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon and a sentiment from Hopeful Thoughts to match the card.

Busy, busy got some kits to prep for the show this Sunday at the Harvey Hadden Stadium in Nottingham. I'll have some fab kits available for you to buy on the day as well as half price Catalogues and retired stamp sets too. As well as fantastic demonstration and loads of inspiration too.
