Want some inspiration? Well I found some over at my fellow demo and friend Diana's blog. I loved her card so much I cased it! Beautiful design Diana! It was my Mum's birthday this week and she is over in England for a few days. I made her a card, decorated a notebook and made matching gift wrap too:

Stampin_Up

I've used Crumb Cake, Coastal Cabana, Smoky Slate and Bermuda Bay for my colour combo. My accessories are from the Tag A Bag Accessory Kit.  Here's the card:

Stampin_Up

The sentiment is from Delightful Dozen and as well as punching out the Itty Butterfly, I've stamped it over the sentiment too. I also stamped on the gift packaging (we get tons of brown packaging paper in our Stampin' Up! parcels so it's great to recycle).

Here are some closer details:

So if you'd like to order any of these products, there are several ways you can do so. If you're local to me in Nottingham - I'm putting in an order this evening so you can email me or call me on the details above for free collection.

Stampin' Up! Craft Club Card

Last night was the monthly gathering of my Stampin' Up! Craft Club. Club members can come to collect their previous months order, pay with my stash and make a project and of course pop in their order for the current month.

Here's my version of the card we all made:

Stampin_Up

We used the Festive Flurry stamp set teamed up with a tag from one of the Simply Created kits in the Seasonal Catalogue. The colour combo is Smoky Slate, Soft Sky, Bermuda Bay and Whisper White. We accessorised with a Frosted Finish Embellishment, Silver Ribbon and created sparkle by stamping the snowflake in Versamark and Bermuda Bay ink then sprinkling with Heat n Stick powder and then adding Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. Great fun.

I will point out that I made mine wrong and smudged my sentiment. Rather than start again I stamped the sentiment again on Soft Sky and made a little flag to stick over my mistake. Think it looks better this way eh Alex?

Here are some close ups:

I have a new club starting in October running for 10 months. If you'd like to join or know more about it, please email me at:

Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio Hybrid Cards

The other day I promised to share with you a couple of the cards I made to show at Stampin' Up! Creative Tour using standard Stampin' Up! products mixed with stuff I'd printed from My Digital Studio Software.

Stampin_Up

My colour combo is Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and Old Olive. I'm loving the new Gold Foil Sheets and I think it looks fab embossed with Stylish Stripes Textured Embossing Folder. The digital bits are the embellishments in the centre which I've punched out and the paper ribbon across the middle. Both are from Very Merry Twenty Five Designer Tags Set.

Stampin_Up

Same card design here, just switched the colours around and used Champagne Glimmer Paper instead of the Gold Foil.

Stampin_Up

Love the way it sparkles without covering me in glitter when I touch it!

Stampin_Up

You can buy all the products used here from me and to save time you can browse my online Stampin' Up! shop and shop 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - you'll need a big basket though!

Stampin' Up! Single Stamps - The christmas Collection

I often get asked why Stampin' Up! don't sell many single stamps. There are a few to choose from in our annual catalogue but now we have a new collection available from now until 31st Jan 2014 - you might want to get them before then though! Here they are:

Stampin_Up

If you click on the image it will take you to my online shop where you can buy these. You might want to take a look at the Clear Mount Blocks too as you'll need the right sized block to use these clear mount stamps - oh and did you know we do coordinating punches and dies for many of these stamps too? It says under each stamp what products coordiante so don't worry about having to choose the right product - it's all done for you.

Of course you can order by phone, email and in person too! Why not book yourself a crafty night at home and host your very own Stampin' Up! party? You provide the friends and I'll bring the fun.

Email me to book your party at:

Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio Hybrid Crafting

Hellooo - today I'm going to share with you a couple of projects I made with the help of My Digital Studio - the new digital designer software from Stampin' Up!

I was asked to do a short presentation on using My Digital Studio at the Stampin' Up! Creative Tour last week and these are a couple of the projects I shared at the end. Many people have mentioned to me that doing digital crafting doesn't give the same result as actual paper crafting so I'm hoping to change their minds! With Christmas approaching combing Stampin' Up flat pack boxes with My Digital Studio can help you create beautiful gift boxes. Here's the first one.

I used a Kraft Gift Box and decorated it with Cherry Cobbler Card and some Champagne Glimmer Paper.

Stampin_Up

For the digital bit I selected some embellishments on My Digital Studio from Very Merry 25 - a sample shown below. I re-sized them and printed on to a sheet of Whisper White Card.

Stampin_Up

Then the fun starts - I've sized them to match up with Stampin' Up! punches and dies and cut paper ribbon strips too.

Stampin_Up

The next gift box is made from a Tag A Bag Box, I selected the background paper and then positioned the tags before printing to size to fit the box. Again, just printed at home onto Whisper White Card.

Stampin' Up! Frosted Finishes Embellishments

Given a tub of 12 Stampin' Up! rhinestone adorned embellishments what would you create? Well I didn't use a whole tub (which is only £6.25 so great value) I set about making some Christmas gifts!!

So here is what I created using some silver plated jewellery findings (not Stampin' Up!) and 10 of the beautiful Frosted Finishes Embellishments. Starting with a simple necklace - I've worn this lots already!

Stampin_Up

Aren't they the most beautiful snowflakes? Not just for card and scrapbook projects. Next up a pretty ring and not forgetting the chaps this Christmas, some cuff links:

A pair of earrings on fish hooks:

And a pair on studs:

Finally a pair of hair grips:

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Training

I had a bit of time today to sort out some photos from the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Training day that myself and my teamie Louise ran on Saturday. Starting with some photos courtesy of Lisa Marie Olson, so pleased to have a photo of our giveaway notepads, decorated goodie bags and one of Louise and I too:

Stampin_Up

Got to love Lisa for these as I totally forgot to take a photo of the red and green notepads! We gave everyone a decorated bag filled with goodies and a water bottle too - plus a bag full of designer papers etc. We like training but we like to craft too!

Next you can see our raffle prize display - our fabulous Stampin' Up! decorations on our tree and there's Christine holding up the ornament she made!

Stampin_Up

Next up - our registration table, a photo of some of the girls having a proper giggle, Sandrina winning on raffle and Christine too!

Stampin_Up

Here are some pics of our inspiration area - the theme was certainly Christmas!

Stampin_Up

More raffle winners for Maggie and Beryl, Shell showing off her projects and everyone else hard at work.

Stampin_up

We'll be announcing the date of our next all day training session shortly, in the meantime if you'd like to know more about becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator yourself, please drop me an email at:

bluejellystampin@sky.com

or if you're as keen as custard you can sign online here:

You don't have to be an experienced crafter to enjoy the benefits and rewards being a demonstrator can bring, you just have to love it and myself and Stampin' Up! will help with the rest.

More in the week when I'll share the actual projects we made.

Stampin' Up! Build A Banner

Ooh I'm having a proper lazy Sunday with my hubby and boys after a fun but hectic day at Stampin' Up! training yesterday. I'll post about that tomorrow. For today I'm feeling like sharing a really fun and inky project I made using the Stampin' Up! Build A Banner Simply Created Kit.

Starting with a close up:

Stampin_Up

Last year I wasn't really feeling the love for Stampin' Up! Glass Glitter - but this year I can't get enough of the stuff! Isn't it funny how your tastes change? Glad it's still available and in tow shades too - this is Champagne. I've used it to decorate my tree along with Candy Dots.

Here's the full project:

Stampin_Up

I made a gift bag using two of the canvas pennants from the kit. You get 18 in total so plenty for lots of projects. I stuck them together using Tombow and then decorated with the stencils in the kits using Finger Daubers with Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake inks. The Glass Glitter is held in place with Tombow too - such an amazing glue. I had this on display at our training event yesterday and it got plenty of 'oohs' and 'aahs' so much so that I will be advertising a class using the banner kit very soon!

Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio Is Here!

Woo-hoo I'm so pleased to share with you that My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up! is now available to purchase. If you're a digi fan or haven't yet tried your crafty mitts at it - I can promise you you'll love it! I used to do loads of digi crafting prior to becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and I'm so so pleased to be able to enjoy this other side of crafting again.

My Digital Studio is Stampin' Up! exclusive software that enables you to be your own designer, cards, photo books, calenders and more. It's fabbo! And what's more you don't have to wait for postage to get a disc because it is all available to purchase and download online in my Stampin' Up! Online Shop.

What's more it's a right steal as you can download it and try it for FREE for 30 days by clicking onto my online Stampin' Up! shop here:

Stampin_Up

After the 30 days you will probably want to buy the actual software, which again you can download from my shop for just £13.95. In the shop you will find loads of extras that you can choose to buy at a later stage. You'll find everything from digi kits to embellishments, punches, stamps, papers and loads of ready designed templates too. Did I mention there are FREE downloads available too?

Want to see one of the projects I made yesterday? We recently visited Legoland Windsor for our 10th wedding anniversary (yes we took the boys with us!) and I had to make a 12x12 scrapbook page using the My Digital Studio Software:

Stampin_Up

The great thing about My Digital Studio is that it accesses all the fonts you have installed on your PC already. I downloaded the Lego style font for free and everything else on the page is from My Digital Studio software. I recently purchased an A3+ printer so am able to print out individual pages at home but Stampin' Up! has arranged a fabulous printer and you can send all your projects off to be printed professionally in true Stampin' Up! colours etc - all done through the software.

Hope you like it.
