Stampin' Up! Sale A Bration Meets Owl Occasions

Woo-hoo the snow has all gone, with the exception of a small heap in my garden wearing a hat and scarf with a bit of carrot, a pair of socks and a tangerine - farewell snow man and snow dog! The sun is shining and boy does that put me in the mood to create.

Zac is off to his friend Darcy's fifth birthday party this afternoon. The Spark is taking him whilst I stay home with Blake. I haven't told the Spark it's a Magical Movers party and he'll be expected to get down and find his groove dancing with the kids - ha!

So a birthday card was in order for Darcy:

I've used the stamp set Owl Occasions from the Autumn Winter Seasonal catalogue - if you love this set and haven't yet bought it, you still have a few days before ordering for this catalogue comes to an end. I've teamed it up with Madison Avenue Sale a Bration papers as I adore the colours and think they are really fun for a child's card. The owl and accessories have all been coloured with Markers and then stamped.

Below you can see a close up of the sentiment. I've used a few more Sale a Bration products here. The stamp is from Pretty Petites, stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. The cute little coordinating Petite Curly Label Punch is an absolute must have! I've also added some Pool Party Ribbon which is from the Ribbon and Buttons Bundle.

On the main photo you'll see I made an envelope to match the card. It's so easy to do using the Diagonal Plate with the Simply Scored Tool. Tip - if you apply your Tombow Adhesive and pop it to one side, it turns into re positional glue - perfect for sealing envelopes!

Housework awaits me now before crafting fun, so I'd better get stuck in.

  1. Glad to see you're back and up and running again. Bet the glandular fever as well as trying to be mum to two small boys has taken it out of you.
    Take care

  2. Great tip for using Tombo on envelope flaps - hadn't thought of this before but it seems so obvious, thanks for sharing!
