Stampin' Up! Buy It whilst you can!

Ooh the pressure is officially on! There are now only EIGHT days left to order from the Stampin' Up! Spring Mini Catalogue. Do you have everything you want or need yet?

Do you realise that after 30th April you won't be able to order the Build a Cupcake stamp set or the matching Cupcake Builder Punch? Worse still - we'll also wave goodbye to the fabby 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch.

I've made a card using all of these products as I love them so much. My card is cased from a gorgeous swap I received yesterday from the lovely Ciara, a fellow demo.

I've also used the vibrant Fruit and Flowers designer papers. These will also be going at the end of the month but if you place an order of £45 or more on the goodies you want, you can get this set of papers for FREE! That straight away saves you nearly £10.

It's really easy to order Stampin' Up! products from me, just phone me on 07748 707845 or email me bluejellystampin@sky.com and let me know what you'd like. There are lots of payment options so you can choose the one that suits you.

Please don't wait until 1st May - you'll be too late!

Stampin' Up! Perfect Postage Panic

No seriously, I'm in a state of panic. The Perfect Postage stamp set and the coordinating Postage Stamp Punch are only available in the Stampin' Up! Spring Mini catalogue for another 12 days. I'm not sure I've used them enough and I'm not sure I've shown you how fabulous they are either. So to calm myself I had a sesh in the room of craft and created this:

I used to love it as a kid when my Grandma bought stamps and I was allowed to tear them apart along the perforations. I'm robbed of that now that we have the self adhesive stamps, although I don't miss licking them - yuk! So what I like about this punch is how you can stick the punched shapes together closely to look like an old style perforated sheet of stamps.

The stamp features blackberries. I've stamped them in Elegant Eggplant on a variety of shades of card. Love that we have so many colours that go together - makes crafting so easy. I did cut the squares out by hand and stuck on a punched piece of Whisper White card. Dead easy though with there being an outline to cut along:

I couldn't sleep last night so was up crafting in silence whilst everyone else was asleep and one card wasn't enough. We've been looking through loads of paint charts recently trying to find a good match to some wallpaper and this card reminded me of the charts so I made these too:

It's the same design, just flipped to portrait. I did make another in landscape too:

I wanted to do one in neutrals but my eyes started to go all blurry so I went back to bed! Not sure which is my favourite, they all use Elegant Eggplant ink and it was a fab way to delve into my masses of scraps too.

So don't panic like me, just make sure you contact me to place your order for anything you want NEED from the Spring Mini before it's too late. Just 12 days left.

Oh and this green card is the one I'm popping in to the So Shelli Challenge this month:

Stampin' Up! with some doodling

I'm supposed to be doing paperwork all day today but ahem, I got distracted! Hubby is busy chopping in some new electrics in our hallway and landing and I've had to nip out to buy a matress for Blake's new bed and then I saw the challenge over at Less is More. I couldn't resist a spot of doodling!

I've made a set of five congratulations cards using the Little Additions stamp set. My card blanks are from Whisper White card and I drew in the line for the bunting with an Early Espresso Marker. Next up I stamped the bunting in Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Certainly Celery and Pool Party. It took a while using the stamp-ma-jig but I like the effect so it was worth it. I wrote in the 'congratulations' sentiment so hope that count's towards doodling too.

I stamped the table first and then using Markers coloured the lampshade stamp and did my best to line it up. The 'celebrate' sentiment is also from Little Additions. I doodled in a hanging light switch to finish off.

Right, I'd better get back to my paperwork before Spark spots I'm skiving!

Stampin' Up! Aviary

If you liked the colour si used in the sneak peek of my next all day class yesterday, you'll probably like this card too!

I've used the same colours as they were out on my desk, Pool Party, Pretty in Pink, Wisteria Wonder and Crumb Cake. Not surprisingly I am running low on card stock in all these colours!

I've used the set Aviary for the bird cage, stamped on Whisper White card and cut out. The flowers have been stamped in the same colours inside the bird cage using one of the flowers from Itty Bitty Bits and punched flowers stuck on the outside using one of the Ittby bitty Punches

I popped the flowers on to my Mat Pack and pushed the centres to give them some dimension before sticking down with Glue Dots and finsihed with the smallest of the Self Adhesive Pearls.

The decorative strip is simply card punched with the Scallop Dotted Ribbon Border Punch and a sentiment from Oval All - one of the earlier sets I bought from Stampin' Up!

Most of the time I look forward to the weekend so I can smuggle in some crafting, but this weekend I have to catch up on my paperwork and if I get 5 minutes to craft I'll be lucky! I might have to do some late night creating as I have laods of ideas buzzing round my head at the moment.

Stampin' Up! Create A Cupcake Recipe Box Class

Thank you to everyone who has contacted me to run another all day class. I've designed one I'm really proud of and I hope you'll love it as much as I do. It's going to be very limited on numbers - a maximum of 8 places are available and here is a sneak peek of what we'll be making:

I'm making the most of using the Create a Cupcake stamp set and Cupcake Builder punch whist they are still in the Spring mini! I've seen several cards of this design so thought it would be fun to make a recipe index card style box to keep cards in. The box has a flip top lid (!) and six sections inside.

We'll be making lots of matching cards and goodies on the day to pop inside the recipe box - which is very sturdy and strong. You'll also get your own Cupcake Builder Punch as part of your goody bag, along with lots of stuff to use after the class too.

The class is on Saturday 12th May and will be held in Arnold, Nottingham. We'll be starting at 10.30 and finishing at 4pm. The cost is £37 and includes oodles of goodies, along with your punch (which you can substitute for another item if you have it already), full photo instructions and lots of inspiration and ideas too.

You'll need to bring a packed lunch (fridge etc available for use) and a basic toolkit. Refreshments will be provided.

Places need to be booked and paid for in full please by Friday 27th April. You can email me at bluejellystampin@sky.com to reserve your place or call me on 07748 707845.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Stampin' Up! You Are Loved

Yoo-hoo, sorry to have been missing in action for a few days. We've been busy over the Easter break plus our boiler has broken down so not spent much time crafting as too cold in the room of craft! We have a plumber coming round tonight with the parts to get it fixed - yey, no more boiling the kettle to wash my hair.

Anyway, did you but Stampin' Up! You are Loved set to use for Valentine's day and now you're stuck with what to use it for? I made this little set of cards in a holder at the weekend:

The photo above shows it opened with the cards and envelopes inside. I've used Basic Black and In Colour card stock. Here's the outside of the folder:

I used the large floral stamp with Basic Black ink and repeat stamped it over Pool Party card and closed the folder with some Basic Black Satin Ribbon. Here are the contents:

The same card in each of the In Colours; Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder, Island Indigo and Lucky Limeade. The sentiment is also from You are Loved and the satin ribbon pinched together with coordinating In Colour Designer Printed Brads. I stamped the Whisper White Envelopes to match.

So if you love this stamp set, you need to be quick to get it now as it's only available in the Spring Mini catalogue until the end of this month!!

Did you know if you order the following from me this month, you can also choose one of 4 packets of Designer Papers for FREE!

  • You are Loved stamp set - £22.95
  • A4 In Color Assortment card - £6.25
  • Basic Black Satin Ribbon - £6.75
  • In Color Printed Brads - £7.25
  • Basic Black Ink Pad - £4.95
I'll also send you the PDF tutorial to make the folder and cards above for FREE too. You won't need any punches or die cutters, just add glue and some scrap black card.

So that's all the goodies above, the FREE PDF tutorial and a FREE set of designer papers of your choice from the selection in the April offer from Stampin' Up!

Stampin' Up! Berry Blossoms Purse

Another scheduled post from me today as I hope we are busy taking down plaster and putting up plaster board and stripping wallpaper in our hallway as you read this!

As you can see from my post at the top of my blog, Stampin' Up! have an offer on this month when you spend £45 on one order. You get freebie papers and one of them is Berry Blossoms. I've made one of my Two Tags Purses to show off the papers:

I chose the Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral large patterned papers for this one and altered my design slightly by adding a pocket to the front made using the larger of the Dies:

I've used the In Colour Glimer Brads and the Brights Flower Brads to decorate the bag. I love the sparkle on the Glimmer Brads and the fact the glitter doesn't come off all over me!

If you like these papers, they are yours for FREE when you spend £45 on one order. Why not buy the matching products?
  • Fruit and Flowers stamp set £18.95
  • Blossom Party Big Shot Die £16.50

Stamin' Up! Cupcake Case

Scheduled post from me today so I hope it posts around breakfast time! I saw a beautiful card when I was browsing through pinterest the other day and had to case it. The original card was by Sherri Baron. Here's my version:

I've got to get as much usage out of my Create a Cupcake set and coordinating Cupcake Builder punch before the end of April when the Spring Mini Catalogue ordering comes to and end - sob. I absolutely love both of these products and will be more than gutted to see them go.

My colour combo is Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Pretty in Pink and Crumb Cake. I think these colours look so pretty together.

I've used several punches for this card in addition to the Cupcake Builder. The Decorative Label, 1 3/8" Circle and my old favourite Word Window . The sentiment is from Trendy Trees. Ive stuck a length of Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon over the Designer Paper and cut the ends to form the 'v'.

Stampin' Up! Beyond The Garden

Being as Stampin' Up! have the Gift With Purchase offer on this month I've made some cards today that showcase one of the designer paper sets on offer, Beyond the Garden.

I know this isn't the best photo but I do have an excuse. I normally take my photos in the conservatoire but it's currently occupied by a huge furry ping pong ball sized bumble bee. Whilst I managed last week to gently tap one out of my bathroom window - this one is a very angry flying furry ping pong ball as he's been in there overnight. Jelly doesn't do angry bees and I'll have to wait until the spark comes home to free it!

Here are the Beyond the Garden Designer Papers:

On the set of cards above I've used the Tangerine Tango and Melon Mambo coloured sheet. Here's a close up of one of the cards (not the papers!)

I've combined the papers with Growing Green and Tagtastic. The flowers were coloured with matching inks and a blender pen. I made the same set using one of the other sheets from the pack:

This combo is mainly Melon Mambo and Wild Wasabi. Now if things don't look quite right on my blog ove rthe next few days it's because I'm changing it a bit. But Commander Chaos and Major Mayhem are both home with me which will cause the odd occasion where I don't intend to save something, or I don't quite get time to complete something and will have to come back to it later!
